What is ThreatSwitch?

ThreatSwitch is software that helps you participate in your company's security program more quickly and easily. It lets you report information to your security manager, and helps you complete required training.

Why is my company using ThreatSwitch?

Your company is using ThreatSwitch because it wants to make it easier for employees to participate in its industrial security program. This helps your company comply with federal rules, and helps you spend less time on security admin tasks and more time on your job.

Is this safe and secure?

ThreatSwitch uses some of the strongest forms of encryption commercially available for use on the Web today. To find out more, read our security article in the help center.

How often do I need to log on to ThreatSwitch?

You need to log in to ThreatSwitch whenever your security manager assigns you training, or you need to report information to fulfill your security responsibilities.

How do I submit foreign contacts to my security manager?

It's easy to submit foreign contacts via ThreatSwitch. Just follow the instructions for reporting information here and select "foreign contacts" when you are logged in.

How do I submit foreign travel to my security manager?

We have made foreign travel reporting a lot easier with a step by step wizard that you don't need training to use. Just follow the instructions for reporting information here and select "foreign travel" when you are logged in.

How do I submit reportable information to my security manager?

You can report anything to your security manager -- from foriegn contacts to changes in your personal situation (like marriage) to suspicious activity. Just follow the instructions for reporting information here and select appropriate type of report when you are logged in.

How do I take training?

Don't worry -- ThreatSwitch will send you an email whenever you're assigned security training. All you have to do is log in using the link in the email, click on "Training" and click on the provided link.

How do I confirm that I've completed training?

Once you've completed training, all you have to do is go back to the training page once you've logged in and click on "My Training Assignments." Once there just click on "Certify Completion" and you're done.

I can't log on. What's the problem?

There could be two reasons you can't log on:

  1. You are using invalid login information (your username or password is incorrect). Click on "Reset Password" to set a new password, then try again. Check out this Support Article to learn more. 

  2. Requested to reset your password but did not receive an e-mail? Check this article out on how to troubleshoot. 

  3. You don't have an account. Contact your security manager to make sure that he or she has in fact added you to ThreatSwitch.
